Det som en gång i tiden var vi

Info about Uppbrottets Hembygd / Nomadic Neighbourhood at Murberget Västernorrlands länsmueseum Härnösand:

Nomadic Neighborhood is a contradictive title. Neighborhood stands for something solid and could be linked to the Swedish expression “hembygd”, which means both home and heritage and is connected to belonging to a physical area. The nomadic, on the contrary, tells you about movement and transition. It
is interlinked to the modern experience, but it also stands for a certain attitude towards life. The tramp, vagabond, the flaneur, and the nomad – today we can also add the artist as a person who finds nourishment in changing environments and geographic transition.
